A ROSIE TIP OF THE WEEK:

TIPS from Rosie’s… A Rosie Tip...In an earlier post, it was suggested using a tack cloth to clear the dust off your piece before painting. So what is a tack cloth? It is a loosely woven, gauzy fabric of cheesecloth saturated with beeswax. It operates like a magnet for dust but does not penetrate the wood pores like water. Using a tack cloth can be likened to wiping down a surface with a damp cloth, but without the harmful effects of water on your porous surface. It leaves a surface smooth and dust-free. Tack cloth is available at your local hardware store or online. Happy Painting!

Store hours Thursday - Saturday 10-4, Sunday 11-4
